ABOUT A MONTH AGO I CALLED CONNIE AND SAID "OK, I SIGNED US UP FOR A 5K RUN". THIS IS WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS GIRL....SHE SAID "OK, WHEN IS IT, WE'LL DO IT".
Pretending to be competitive, lol. We ran our first 5 K in 33 min something minutes. Watch the video and see how Connie sprinted at the end to beat me by 1 second. That was really important to her:) I was just proud to finish. We were behind the hard core runners (but not last) and way ahead of the hard core walkers. I think we came in the top 1/3. There were probably about 75 runners/walkers. It was fun. I am ready to do another one! GOOD JOB CON, I am sooooooo proud of us and I love you for being the friend that is "up for anything".

Way to go you guys! I was so excited when I did my first 5k. It's funny because it was my first and LAST race LOL I just wanted to see if I could do it. Hmmm, now you've got me thinking about another one...perhaps the "turkey trot" in Nov.....my wheels are a turnin...

Yay for you!!! I don't enjoy the running thing. I might run if a bad guy was chasing me. I don't know.... maybe not even then. :)
