What do you get when you pile 13 teenagers and 2 adults into ONE big van to drive all the way up country??????????

Landon went on his first without dad backpacking trip with our church youth group for almost 2 WEEKS. He did great. He was the youngest one to go and I think HE IS HOOKED NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
My best friend Connie was one of the adults that went.
Pastor Mike started these "character building" trips years ago. I won't say what Connie said when I asked her if it built her character.....HA. No actually she loved it and found true joy in taking these kids....what a gift she has!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, this looks like fun and a little bit of a love for the Lord to do this. LOL... Do they really sleep in the open mountain area? I'm not sure about all of that. I know a tent doesn't save you or anything but it makes me feel better. Ha.Ha...
I love camping but with a tent. Like that really matters.
Well, I am glad Landon had a great time and really the adults that take the time to bless these kids are truely a blessing.
I work with our teenagers at our church and you have to have a calling on your life to do this. Sometimes teenagers are just dumb and do not know how to use their brain. We have to remind them. LOL.
